Sanctity of Human Life Sunday (SOHLS) is an annual event every January when churches nationwide celebrate the sanctity of human life and catch the vision for what God is doing in local pregnancy centers like First Choice. This year, SOHLS will be celebrated on January 11, 18, and 25, 2026. Your church can participate in the following ways:

1. Order Bulletin Inserts for Your Congregation

We offer them as a complement to your ministry at no charge. If you are not printing a bulletin, we can provide a poster with a QR code that your people can access via their smartphone.

2. Schedule a First Choice speaker

A 5-7 minute presentation during your service(s) is a blessing to us and a wonderful way to familiarize your congregation with a local ministry that addresses the pro-life issue in a positive way. The presentation will include a video with a summary of the stories of women who have been helped by First Choice during our 40 years of services, which have all been free of charge, thanks to our generous donors.

3. Participate in our Baby Bottle Boomerang

Baby bottles are distributed to your congregation on SOHLS so they can be filled with spare change, bills, or checks, and returned one month later. This would be administered by someone in your church and is a great way for families and children to make a difference. It works best in conjunction with a First Choice speaker who can kick it off.
